Food for Life

There was this Hong Kong Style coffee shop that my roommate claims that is fairly famous for it's pork organ mee, we had a try, not quite unique, but dirt cheap taking account the amount of beef present. The best thing about it is the soup, I can recognize a nice bowl of beef soup where the soup is clear and contains alot of protein precipitation, they do invest alot of beef and time in the soup. Worth trying.

Then there was this shop that sells only soy bean products, the taufu was somewhat nice but I dont really like the smell of that vege that they put into the fish meat. The Taufufa was just the right sweetness but I didn't try Soy Milk, my roommate claims it was fantastic.

Nightmare

Had a very horrible nightmare indeed, i'm violating alot of things in school and even took what what Perl, C++ books out while having close book exam and was detained with my roommate because he did it also. I insist that I was too concentrated on the exam that I don't know that I took the book out as a reference, everyone looked at me as I were a prisoner. I'm running like wild going around the school to solve my problem, eventually causing more problems....and wakeup... found out that i didn't close the lamp while sleeping, and also forgot to brush my teeth -.-.....

Having Physics Exam Tomorrow !

Physic exams dont stop me from doing something meaningful like writing a blog, here I am to prove that physics is a piece of cake XD.

Ate steamboat by myself, some porraige cooked with rice imported from thailand, salmon imported from australia, kimchi imported from dunno where, most probably korea, and some korean imported mushrooms~. Salmons aren't really that nice, esspecially if you cook it, there is that fishy smell that comes out, its better eaten raw. Filled my whole room with kimchi flavour and had to do ventilation to clear off the odour. Wont be so stupid to eat steamboat in my own room alone next time.

There was this girl which I had a crush with at primary school, browsing through her blog was the most entertaining thing I ever did in this few days.

Kimchi RAMEN, ELC test

Had my ELC listening test and discussion test today, awkward !! Although the listening was quite easy, the discussion was somewhat very uncontinuous because of the lack of points and the topic was catastrophic for me -.-, "What's influence the student's urge to buy clothes? and how to save the local fashion industry?.... WTF !! the worst question I could ever get..

Paper, you better get started to learn how to make kimchi RAMEN the natural way, as I think it is the thing that is worth eating among all other foods other then chinese food, japanese foods are too cold, european foods are too creamy and sticky, processed foods are too unhealthy, chinese foods are NICE, and the alternative for chinese food is KOREAN !! THAILAND !! and of course INDIAN !! MALAYSIAN !!

First time feeling the sun is so important !!!

Not Equatorials, but still nested near a place of warmth and cosy, will this little mouse that doesn't even have one tiny little bit of oil beneath his skin survive the cold winter, not really cold to the other big fat rats, but this one, clever as he might be, is not so strong physically. He strive to finish some of the chores his masters gave him, having an attitude that is so stubborn that he must finish his work before doing anything else. Even hunger and chills cannot alter his path, finally, he achieve his objective and there he goes, searching for food, for the next objective is to survive. However, there was still alot of obstacles stopping him from filling his stomach, the strong winds outside forced him to equip his new clothing made from cat fur that he bought from CK's, Cat's Kracken a store that offers the worst of the worst clothes made from dead cat's fur. Nevertheless, it's just few steps away from food, there he goes, sprinting across the corridor, lowering his body to slip past the gust that is now tearing his clothing apart. Racing towards shelter and heat, there he goes, left, right left, left, right, slide, drift, run and NITROS ! With how much he could output into kinetic energy, there goes all of it.

The place of warmth is a pleasent place to be, one can feel it's existence by just the sensors on the tip of the nose. There it is, his tiny pink nose pickup the direction and.

Ah ha, he smiles, his sharp front teeth feeling like the iron bars in the fridge where he used to search for food in his old home. Shivering and drumming, there it is, the reward for finishing his objectives, ate with pleasure and comfort, for this is the moment of the day! He told himself, doing this was stupid, but he likes doing stupid things, maybe he will continue to do it, and enjoy suffering with pleasure....

I Hate Jeans for the following reasons

1) Pockets too small
2) Pricky in the inside
3) The vertical space between the two holes that fit in the legs is too small, which is simply the place that fits in my "???".
4) Heavy
5) Hard to wash
6) Having a hard to time to go to the toilet, especially if I got big business to be done.

#^^milady, don't be so sad just because of the stupid exam, Its not worth to cry for the few Arabian numbers, your tears are far more precious than that... I won't forget the way you came and gave me encouragement the day I had my SPM Malay, just before I had Sejarah, I knew, no matter how it turns out to be, it doesn't matter, it matters only that I had done what that needs to be done and milady wont feel dissapointed in me and thats enough, more than enough, although not enough than a scholarship, but enough to make me feel great that I did fulfill milady wishes to do the best I can. Sorry milady I couldn't ask myself to add you and give you support, hope the one that is far more near you than I am can give you enough strength to go through this harsh time.^^#

Would boys like their grandma more than thier girlfriend?

Definately possible, I'm now just as close to that thinking that my aunt's mum is coming over to HK this saturday, and I'll have WONDERFUL things to eat this weekend. The way to a guy's heart, simply FEED him nicely !! Hell excited thinking about delicous food !!

Went to search for delicous food outside, and I was dissapointed, seems like it is really hard to find acceptable foods within a resonable price range, but no f ear, i'll have 3 years to summarize the Hong Kong food industry, that is if I dont have a chance to go for exchange elsewhere.

Sleepy Day, Finance exams at Curtin

My sleeping time is seriously distorted, keep sleeping in the afternoon and now writing the blog at 4am.

Something not good about having an nicely insulated hostel, its HOT !! outside is 17 degrees now and I totally dont feel anything at all, its just like 28 degrees -.-

My friend at Curtin University of Technology had thier finals for finance and got hell out of it, almost nobody knows what the questions are talking about, and maybe 2/50 is not possible just to add on the mark to the midterm exam for passing the subject. Maybe Curtin want to have them pay for tuition fees for one more semester? Good Strategy !!

The most interesting experiment ever, playing with Function Generator that can generate sine waves, triangular waves, pulse waves, and those Lissajous Figures that are used to determine unknown frequencies. Wow, kind of starting to love doing experiments, loads of ground to be broken.

The assignment I spent whole day doing was rejected because he said that I need to place evidence into the video instead of doing it like an interview.

Skills always get rusty when they are not used, my cookery sucks again once more, even manage to get half cooked potatoes !! Hurray !!

Why is Hong Kong's weather is still so hot at November? Global warming is dominating, cannot imagine what the future will be like for the next generation. The weather never got colder after the few days of cold wave, instead it got hotter and hotter and today it was back to 30 degrees again, I'm sweating all over.

Introducing yourself...Bad Example

Went out basketball alone and surprisingly met Jin Qi Ming, his joging partner forgot about the appointment and so I was not alone after all. One of the good things about shooting basketball is that you never need to use your brain and can chat willingly. He talked about his school, class, which was the top class in the school and the best teachers are all assigned to that class, about the revision classes he doesn't need to attend. The cold wave that evaded whole china last week, the thing that made the temperature become 16 degrees within 24 hours.

Spend whole afternoon facing the webcam recording the Digital Story for the English Course, keep trying and trying and even tried to imitate Leehom's slang from the CNN interview, anyway, failed.

Struggling to go Jusco or Mongkok to get my converse shoes and slippers, I really need a pair of those, that big shoes of mine is going to stink if I continue to wear it everyday. Finally, didn't go, maybe i'll just wait for my aunt to go with me.

Badminton, Fish, Kimchi

Spent one hour in the morning playing badminton with Jie Yao and Ryon, and I still don't understand why they can be so reluctant to move just like when I played badminton for the first few times at Huey Chow with confucian friends. Sports should be fun and competing, active and running, skillful and techniques, thats what i think about sports, same as e-sports, maintaining a competitive passion is the way to enjoy a game.

Got my 马友鱼(Fish), steamed with soy sauce, it tastes just like what I expected, stinky on the outside and fresh on the inside. The downside is, this time I have to consume it all by myself without the aid of DBKL, which stands for the state management department in Malaysia. What does state management department actually does? Well, part of its job is to collect household wastes, so in this case it will be refering to my father which surely consumes everything that I leave behind.

However, for the second time eating Kimchi, it doesn't really appeal to me, the weird taste of bitter cabbage, maybe next time I'll buy the taufu kimchi instead of this cabbage one.

Vermillion spend the whole afternoon introducing movies and comics to me, emphasizing on "The Terminal" and "Confession of a shopaholic" which he claims to cause a very rich friend of his to stop spending money at least for the next few weeks to come after watching it.

#^^It obvious that you will learn very fast even if you totally dont know how to play any sort of sports. I bet it would be fun to play any kind of sports together with you and Vermillion, i expect it to be extremely exhausting to me as you 2 never seems to be tired anytime anywhere.^^#

Laksa, Naruto, Yogurt

That fish isn't going to become stink if I dont put it into the freezer one day right, then I'd rather eat outside today to try out some nice things. Sadly it turned out that I didn't got to try out nice things, rather just got try out same things that are of different taste, Hong Kong style Malaysian Laksa, sucks... Full of coconut without even the tinest bit of chilly taste and too much seafood which is too sweetening for me together with Laksa.

Naruto 354 - The Invitation for A Banquet 宴会的请贴 should be refering to Sasuke and Itachi, again it shows nothing just some very dull scenes which describes the story, the konoha team faced up with Tobi 8v1 while they just got hold of Sasuke's location. Sasuke is invited by Itachi to face him 1v1, thats all of it.

Yogurt - It should be the third time or second time I tried Solid Yogurt, other then liquid type yogurt. The taste was somewhat fruity and sticky, not quite pleasent but acceptable, I'll try to test out whether eating yogurt 1-2 hours after dinner will have a better effect of increasing my weight other then drinking my father's prescription consisting of 山楂 and 广木香. It probably wont be better than that because most people use yogurt as a food to decrease body weight.

GI JOE, Beef Steak, English Course

GI JOE was somewhat awesome, esspecially when duke say : I dont care who you are and what you are, I want IN ! And the shuriken that the guy with the white shirt throw, I would love to have one other then making all by paper folds, which doesn't even fly straight for few meters. Oh maybe thats just my problem, tossing shuriken need great expertize, but not as hard as tossing a poker card, reminding me of the guniness world record that cuts dozens cucumbers in half with poker cards.

Watching an action movie, I wont really bother about who is the actress at all, but hollywood always brings in the suitable ones for the movies, esspecially when they make someone wear black framed spectacles, it give me the feeling of a nice girl who is smart at studies at the same time very dumb at something but is very pretty and active behind the specs.

I hope to get more photos posted on this blog but my new camera hasn't arrive yet, only the things that can be placed infront of the webcam can be shown, no fear, it will be in my hands in the near future. Here is something like New Zealand 100% cooked beef steak plus 2 eggs plus spagetti cooked with pasta sauce. It maked me quite sleepy after consuming that whole lot of steak, its my first time eating a beef steak, I'll consider that as a reward after finishing few days of exam.





The English Course yesterday was quite interesting, having us standing on our on point of a debatable question.
Do you agree that looks is important than brains? Like if you will have a girl/boy friend which is pretty and ]sexy?
Will you continue to study after you get your degree?
Will you do a job that can help ppl?
Will you do something for the environment
If you found out your date is married before and devorced on your first date, how will you react?

Do you think hardwork must be needed to gain success? Not neccessarily but NEEDED.

I went to the Practical Learning Activities organized by the English Learning Center, which was quite good as I didn't predict that I can actually be one on one with a teacher, this was really a fabulous experience, having able to express myself, learning what people like, sharing the passion for Laksa, sharing good places to obtain good food, sharing life stories, talking about culture, etnics. Well, I ought to describe what we chatted  right here because I will forget if i don't. Hope to be able to let her taste what is NASI LEMAK with SAMBAL and ASAM LAKSA. She likes spices, introduce me to a restaurant called SPICY MAMA, just near A exit of JORDAN, which the foods are spicy and nice with a scale of extreme spicy to not spicy. Then she has a vegetarian mother which doesn't cook good food because everything is so tasteless. She comes from San Francisco together with Allan, which they are of the same college. She likes to hear abot people and politics events. She tends to think that we dont need to think much of a racial problem as globalization is unavoidable.... and many more?...

It made me think of my dream job after having such long conversations with Anna today at the PLA, I said before that I love voice acting, and I really mean it, I'm looking forward to some job like that but currently I still need to secure a job at the research labs which in reality is my second choice. So, whats the intention of tell you this? Thats because I wanna tell you that, my dream job is voice acting, dream sports is archery,  and my dream girl, is you. These are dreams, that probably wont come true unless I give up chasing pride and success to make dreams come true.^^#

A day of pressure and stress and limits

This time the pressure does not come from the exams, it is from my own execution of the mind which I normally dont do, maybe you guys can try it too. Take a deep breath and try to make yourself as clever as possible, thinking and recalling things from your brain at the fastest speed possible, although by doing this we can't  possibly get full marks in an exam, but it does actually increases the speed that you can finish something that is learnt before. However for things that need real logical thinking, this kind of fast recalling and activation undoubtly dont work.

Here comes a treat from Hall 2, which my Malaysian Senior gave me when I went over to try on his winter jacket. I can't say that it is nice but undoubtly one of the weird things that I ever tried before, the bottom was just like a cake dipped in water and the middle part is just like nose mucus !! LOL AND WHAT THE HELL !! IT REALLY GAVE ME MUCUS, NOW IM SICK AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS PIECE OF CAKE, WTH!!!

The weather is great

For the second time in my life aircond is not present when I feel like vacation the moment I wakeup, absolutely amazing, it was still average 28 celcius the day before this, at the moment i'm writing this thing it become 16 celcius, chances are it will be lower if the sun doesn't do its job well today.

Memorable day for me, for the first time had to wear a long sleave right away after I wake...

Little tidbits of life

Frustrating again about the Impedence, Reactance, Resistance, everything that relates to those AC circuit analysis. Even though tomorrow is the exam, it doesn't really stops me from searching for true knowledge, I can just ignore it and think that nothing is coming, that is maybe the good thing about having a bad memory and a passion for something.

The day after my First Halloween in Hong Kong

I decided not to write my dairy in a text file which I am not sure even me myself will want to read. Well, reasons are even writing a dairy needs some compliments and recognition from someone else to maintain the burning passion, or at least writing it here i'll get to know that someone else in the world had wasted some time for the literature that I kind of vomit out everyday with blood and sweat, consuming the time of my life when I could actually sleep few minutes more to have a nice dream which doesn't require me to use my concious, which is an easy task.

Today it happened that I was having a dinner with my Aunt's family at somewhere near Jordan, Kowloon, HK. Foods in the canteen wasn't at all appealing after you tasted it for more then a month, esspecially when no spices at all are present in all of the foods. Eager for chilly and spice, my Uncle was kind enough to remember this place where we can find spices. Ordered some satay, chicken wings and the so called hand made fish noodles (medium spicy)... it happened that medium spicy isn't that medium after all, according to my standards, it isn't. My tongue didn't feel much heat, but my lips took the suffering instead, burning in pain, struggling to dominate that bowl of pepper !!! Anyway, it was not a huge victory, at least I managed to finish that bowl of FISH, and got experience for what is medium spicy....^^

...Who will be the next person that declares that spice is nothing to them, I would be glad to lead the war, but the next time, i'll be spectating instead.
